About Lilac Dental

With over 11 years of full-time dental experience, Dr. Suman Kondragunta (AKA, Dr. K) attended New York University College of Dentistry where he received a Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2011. After graduating, he moved to New Mexico serving the neediest communities and created new beautiful smiles. Dr. K treats all patients with compassion and gentle dental care. Dr. K and his wife decided it was time for a change with their family expanding. They couldn't be happier with their decision to put down their roots in Texas and serving Texans.

Dr. K loves meditation and Tacos (Tex-Mex) food. When not in the office Dr. K enjoys spending time with his wife Dr. Yanala and his 2 children, Arnav and Avan. He also enjoys hiking, biking, and outdoor recreations and the beautiful Austin area provides this and more. He is passionate about wood carving, sculpture, and painting, and also fond of sports cars.

Dr Yanala graduated from Tufts University school of dental medicine in 2010. After graduation she has worked with different companies and have got the experience in the different procedures and how to treat complications. She likes to keep up with dental products and procedures which are continuously evolving. Her passion lies in aesthetic restorations and smile enhancement.

Dr K and Dr Yanala came to visit their friends in 2011 and immediately fell in love with Austin. The landscape and the unique culture attracted them and made them move to Austin. They have been here in Austin from 2016 and consider Austin as their home town.

They have 2 boys Arnav 12 years old and Avan 7 years old. She loves spending time with her family. On weekends or on her off days you will find her in her little garden in the back yard. She has 2 adorable young boys. During her free time, She loves to spend time with them and try to cook a new recipe.
